There is something pretty special about gathering together on the farm with a great book, new friends, animals nearby, and plenty of opportunities to learn, create, explore, and have FUN. ❤️

Spring registration for My Learning Farm READS! is now open—and we only have a couple of spots remaining!

This spring, we’ll be diving into My Side of the Mountain and turning a wonderful story into a hands-on literacy adventure.

📚 And here’s one of the best parts: I do the reading! READS! is designed to welcome all kinds of learners, including reluctant readers and students who may struggle with decoding. Children can enjoy a rich novel, participate in meaningful discussions, and build important literacy skills without the pressure of having to independently read the entire book.

Throughout our 12 weeks together, we’ll explore:

🌿 Vocabulary and word meanings

✏️ Written responses and building stronger sentences

💬 Comprehension, discussion, and making connections

🔎 Deeper thinking about characters, setting, and events

🎨 Crafts, games, projects, and hands-on activities

🐴 Plenty of farm fun and visits with our animal friends!

READS! is about so much more than finishing a book. It’s about helping children discover that reading and learning can be joyful while building skills, confidence, friendships, and a connection to great stories.
