There is something so special happening here at My Learning Farm… and I couldn’t wait to share it with you....Our My Learning Farm READS! greenhouse classroom is coming along beautifully, and it is quickly becoming one of the most magical learning spaces on the farm. Filled with natural light, surrounded by growing things, and designed to feel warm, calm, and inspiring—this space was created with our students in mind.
This is where stories will come alive. This is where reluctant readers will build confidence.This is where learning feels joyful.
At My Learning Farm READS!, students in Grades 2–6 will gather in our greenhouse for a small-group literature experience unlike traditional school reading programs.
Instead of pressure, we focus on connection.Instead of frustration, we build confidence.Instead of “just reading,” we create meaningful learning experiences.
I will read each novel aloud to students—removing decoding pressure so they can fully engage in vocabulary, comprehension, critical thinking, and written responses. We’ll add in crafts, games, discussion, farm connection, and yes… animals too. 💛🐐
Our goal is simple:To help children fall in love with stories again.
