Special Education Advocacy at My Learning Farm
Special Education Advocacy & IEP/504 Support for Families
Navigating the world of special education, IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), and 504 Plans can feel overwhelming—especially for families new to the process or those revising existing plans. At My Learning Farm, I work closely with parents to ensure their child receives the right assessments, goals, accommodations, and services to support academic success.
I offer personalized guidance for:
-
Parents beginning the IEP or 504 plan process
-
Families preparing for upcoming IEP/504 meetings
-
Those needing support in understanding educational assessments and documentation
-
Reviewing and revising goals, accommodations, and service recommendations
-
Ensuring your child receives the support they are entitled to under IDEA or Section 504
Note: Charter school vouchers or homeschool POs cannot be used for advocacy services.
What Special Education Advocacy Includes:
1:1 Consultation
We’ll review your child’s current academic needs, existing or proposed IEP/504 plan, and any assessment results. I’ll explain the special education process from both the parent and student perspective, and create a targeted advocacy plan tailored to your child.
IEP & 504 Plan Review
I help families analyze and improve current goals to ensure they’re specific, measurable, and aligned with your child’s unique needs. We work together to identify gaps and ensure compliance.
IEP/504 Goal Development
Get expert guidance in creating meaningful academic, behavioral, and functional goals that are appropriate for your child’s age, grade level, and diagnosis.
Meeting Support & Advocacy
I can attend IEP or 504 meetings (virtually or in person) to help interpret assessments, advocate for appropriate services, and explain learning disabilities or health impairments that may be affecting your child’s academic performance.
Service & Accommodation Recommendations
I help families identify and request evidence-based accommodations and services that support academic access and long-term success in both general and special education settings.
Pricing & Support Levels
Advocacy services range from $500 to $1,200, depending on the level of support required. Contact me to discuss your family’s needs and receive a personalized plan.
