At My Learning Farm, I believe in nurturing both minds and hands. Supporting youth in agriculture isn’t just part of my mission—it’s at the heart of what I do. That’s why I proudly partner with 4-H, sponsor youth livestock projects, and stay actively involved in local and state agricultural events.
Agriculture teaches responsibility, discipline, and real-world problem-solving—skills that shape confident, capable young leaders. Through hands-on projects and animal care, youth learn what it means to commit, work hard, and see a goal through. I'm honored to host 4-H projects on the farm, offering space for kids to learn and grow with their animals in a safe and supportive environment.
Each year, I sponsor awards at the Gold Country Fair, recognizing youth who pour time, heart, and dedication into their ag projects. I also sponsor youth animal projects, ensuring every child—regardless of financial circumstance—has the opportunity to participate.
Our support doesn’t stop at the county level. We’re proud to volunteer at the California State Fair Llama and Alpaca Show, helping organize events and encourage a love of livestock education among youth exhibitors from across the state.
At My Learning Farm, agriculture and education go hand-in-hand. I'm building a future where young people connect with the land, understand where their food comes from, and gain confidence through learning. Whether it’s through reading support or raising a lamb, I believe kids thrive when they are challenged, supported, and celebrated.
Because when you invest in youth, you invest in the future.
