If I could go back in time and sit with myself as the first grade mom who KNEW my child was struggling; this is my advice. It is the SAME advice I give to all of the families I advocate for and the families who I work with in reading, writing, spelling, math—EDUCATE yourself!!!!!
But where do I start? READ, LEARN, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS and LOVE & SUPPORT your child!
